Albany Civic Theater presents Grace & Glorie for one night only at 7:30 pm on November 2. Hospice volunteer Glorie Whitmore, who faces unexpected challenges when she visits feisty ninety-year-old Grace Stiles in her Appalachian cabin after Grace’s discharge from cancer treatment. As their worlds collide, both women learn more about each other—and themselves. Grace & Glorie is a heartfelt comedy-drama that brings laughter, reflection, and perhaps a few tears. Also be sure to catch White Christmas, which has performances starting November 29.
Dam Right Drag Night presents a night of Political Horror Drag on November 2 at Calapooia Brewing! Each artist's performance represents their political views solely. Be prepared for some spooks, scares and likely fake blood. Featured will be popular drag and burlesque performers from throughout the Willamette Valley. The doors open at 7:30 pm, and the drag show begins at 8:30. This show is 18+ there is a $10 cash cover at the door. See Facebook or Instagram for more information.
See our merchant's holiday windows unveiled at Downtown Unwrapped & Holiday Open House from 4-8 pm on Thursday, November 7! Stop in at Downtown businesses for a Holiday Open House. The festivities and sales continue through the weekend! Get a head start on your holiday shopping and have dinner at one of Downtown's acclaimed restaurants, and don't forget to try a special "unwrapped" cocktail or dessert! This event is hosted by AlbanyDowntown.com.
Springhill Cellars Winery will hold the Federweisser German Fall Festival and Barn Dance from Friday, November 29, through Sunday, December 1! Enjoy Federweisser (a semi-sweet white pinot noir), Zwiebelkuchen (a savory onion, bacon, and cheese pie), and sausages from Pepper Tree Sausage House. Oompah music will play by day and live jazz from Just Lōnna on Sunday at 4:45 pm. Games, including board games, card games and corn toss, will be available all weekend. The $5 daily cover charge (payable at the door) includes a tasting for guests 21+. Free admission for kids under 15 and anyone in lederhosen or a dirndl. Cash-only for food. Hours: Friday, 12-5 pm; Saturday, 12-10 pm; Sunday, 12-6:30 pm.

The tour is an “insider’s” peek into the past. Step inside some of our most intriguing historic homes and travel back through several eras including Art Deco and Victorian.
