Albany Summer Passport Program
"Albany Safari"

The Albany Summer Passport Program is in full swing! Stop by the Albany Visitors Association or the Albany Regional Museum during open hours to sign up and start your Albany Safari expedition!

This free adventure guide includes logos, addresses, and maps of all participating businesses and organizations. It also includes space for your child’s name and a Polaroid picture of them, much like a real passport! In the back of the passport, you will see the logos of each partner, where your child will collect a stamp from each business. Every stamp boosts their chance of winning exciting prizes in our grand finale drawing!

Explore with “Albany Safari”

This year’s theme is “Albany Safari!” At each stop, children are invited to take part in a playful “Safari” challenge focused on endangered and vulnerable animal species from all over the world. When they spot the safari animal poster inside each business, they’ll read a fun fact about that animal, tell a staff member on-site what they learned, and receive a stamp in their passport! If a child is unable to read, their guardian or peer can assist them. This challenge is meant to be educational and fun! While the program is geared toward kids ages 2 through 17, siblings, parents, grandparents, and caretakers are all welcome to join the adventure.

Weekly Fun & Prizes

Each week, participating families will receive a digital newsletter via email with updates, bonus challenges, and prize opportunities. These challenges can also be found on our Instagram and Facebook. Thanks to our generous local sponsors, cool prizes will be awarded every week!

The Big Finish 

Passports must be turned in by Friday, August 7, to qualify for final prizes. The more stamps collected, the more entries into our end-of-the-program prize drawings (completed booklets receive double the entries!) Then join us at the Carousel Carnival on Saturday, August 15, where we will end the program by giving out prizes to our winners.
