Chrome & Collectibles
Held the first or second Saturday in September, the Antiques in the Streets Sidewalk Sale & Classic Car Show brings vintage flair to downtown Albany. Antique vendors fill the streets with collectibles and curiosities, while more than 100 classic and custom cars gleam curbside. Visitors can browse unique finds, admire historic vehicles, and enjoy lunch from nearby restaurants or the Albany Farmers’ Market.
The World’s Shortest Beer Run
Usually the same weekend as the car show, the Albany Beer “Run” is a 0.3K dash with two craft breweries, a donut station, and a lot of fun. Participants start at Calapooia Brewing and finish at Deluxe Brewing, enjoying beer at both ends.
Cultural Rhythms in the Park
Festival Latino takes at Monteith Riverpark in mid-September, celebrating Hispanic culture with live music, folkloric dance, art, food, and family activities. A vibrant lineup of performers and community resources make this a lively and welcoming event for all ages.

FRESH-PRESSED FALL
Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site hosts Cider Pressing Saturdays in late September and October. Help crank the press, sample fresh cider, and explore Oregon’s last working water-powered mill. Half-gallon jugs are available to purchase, and guided tours are offered throughout the day.
So Mush Fun
At the Albany Mushroom Festival, held each year in late September, fungi lovers gather for a day of mushroom-themed food, workshops, art, and live music. The event features free and ticketed workshops on foraging, cooking, and crafting, along with a fungi-focused marketplace.
Sip & Spirits
Every October, Midway Farms hosts its Psychic Bar Party, blending cocktails with mysticism. Attendees can have their aura read, shop metaphysical vendors, and enjoy live performances. Entry is free, with food and drink available for purchase.
A Stitch Above
The Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival returns every October with workshops, livestock shows, and a vibrant marketplace of yarns, tools, and handmade goods. Free to attend, this event draws fiber artists and hobbyists from across the region.
Chainsaws & Camp
Evil Dead: The Musical takes the Albany Civic Theater stage each fall, offering horror-comedy, over-the-top gore, and cult-classic energy.

October Events by Monteith House
Hunt for Halloween
Starting mid-October, the Downtown Halloween Character Hunt invites families to search for iconic movie monsters displayed in local windows. Completed entry forms go into a drawing for a movie night prize basket. This event is put on by the Albany Downtown Association.
Trick-or-Treat & Compete
Downtown Albany becomes a Halloween hub with the Trick-or-Treat & Costume Contest. Families can visit participating businesses for treats and show off costumes in a friendly, festive competition.
Lights On, Downtown
Kick off the holiday season at Downtown Unwrapped & Holiday Open House, held the first Thursday of November. Merchants unveil festive window displays, offer seasonal specials, and keep doors open late for holiday shopping.
Honoring Service
Albany hosts the largest veterans day parade west of the Mississippi each November 11. At the Linn County Veterens Day Parade, watch marching bands, military units, and community groups honor our nation's veterans. Historic military uniforms are displayed in downtown bussinesses the week before the parade.
Federweisser Fest
Held Thanksgiving weekend, Springhill Cellars’ Federweisser Festival & Barn Dance blends German wine, savory food, games, and music. Come for the Federweisser, stay for the oompah bands and cozy barn vibes. Lederhosen encouraged.
Albany Farmers’ Market is open 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays through November 27. Pick up fresh and local produce, baked goods, meat, flowers and more!

Bose Family Farm features a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides and harvest decor. Their Harvest Festival will be open September 26-November 1. 35765 Cyrus Rd NE.
Grandpa’s Fresh Market carries pumpkins, melons, gourds, straw bales, cornstalk bundles and hayrides on the weekends. 36483 Hwy 226, 541-928-8778.
Kenagy Family Farm has pumpkins, gourds, decorative corn, winter squash and corn stalks. 1650 North Nebergall Loop NE, 541-979-1490.
Midway Farms has fresh cider, apples, hazelnuts, pumpkins and Concord grapes. All of the farm’s products are gluten-free, and they have lots of baked goods and some chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
