The Long and Storied Life of the Lebanon Express

A. K. Dugan, a former editor of the Lebanon Express, will give a talk on the newspaper’s history at the Lebanon Public Library. This free event will include a short film of the newspaper’s operations in 1951.

The Lebanon Express was Lebanon’s sole newspaper for most of its life, from 1887 to January 2023. For this reason, the newspaper, now digitally preserved, is the most important source of information on the area’s history. A. K. Dugan served as editor of the paper from 2001 to 2009.
