Downtown Trick or Treat

Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with family-friendly Trick-or-Treating and a Costume Contest. Look for the orange and black balloons marking the participating downtown businesses.

The Albany Downtown Association (ADA) will continue its annual costume contest on Facebook. Just have ADA take a photo of your little princess or goblin at the Xtreme Graphix photo station, and then photos will be posted on Facebook for a public vote. The photo station is located at the ADA.

Winners will be selected on Facebook. The contestant’s photo with the most likes and shares in each category wins. The deadline to vote is Thursday, November 5 at noon. Winners will be announced via Facebook and the ADA website.

Contest age groups:

  • Babies: 0-2
  • Pre-K: 3-5
  • Kids ages 6-8
  • Kids ages 9-11
  • Kids ages 12-14
  • Teens & Adults 15+
  • Family/Group
