Thompson's Mills Cider Pressing

Press Your Own Cider at Thompson’s Mills! The Thompson’s Mills Preservation Society invites you to a series of family-friendly, old-fashioned cider pressing events at the historic Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site.

Come early or stay late—the park is open dawn to dusk. Pack a picnic, explore the grounds, and take a guided tour of Oregon’s last remaining water-powered mill, built in 1858. Then, roll up your sleeves to help press fresh apples and sample the cider you helped make! Half-gallon jugs of cider are available for $5.
