Trolley of Terror 2025

Prepare for a spine-tingling adventure on the Trolley of Terror, where history meets horror in the heart of downtown Albany. Visitors and locals alike are invited to step aboard the vintage trolley and listen as a guide shares chilling tales tied to the city’s haunted past.
As the trolley glides through dimly lit streets, guests will pass more than 15 haunted locations, each with its own unsettling story. From ghostly figures reported on the courthouse lawn to unexplained events in historic buildings, every stop adds a layer to Albany’s eerie history.
The evening continues inside the Monteith House, Albany’s oldest and most haunted landmark. By candlelight, guests will hear accounts of paranormal encounters that have been shared for generations. Every creak of the floorboards and flicker of light will invite the question—are you truly alone?
This 1 hour and 15 minute experience benefits the Monteith Historical Society, supporting preservation of Albany’s first frame house, its collection of pioneer artifacts, and its educational programs. Tickets at Trolley of Terror
