Summer Passport Program Returns June 21!

Get ready for a season of exploration, discovery, and prizes!
Albany’s beloved Summer Passport Program kicks off on June 21, 2025! Children and families are invited to explore Albany, complete fun challenges, and win fantastic prizes all summer long.
How to Join:
Passports will be available for sign-up on Saturday, June 21 at the Historic Albany Carousel and Museum, 503 W 1st Ave, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Can’t make it that day? No problem—passports will be available through August 1. The program runs until Friday, August 8, with grand prize winners announced at the Carousel Carnival on Saturday, August 16.
How it Works:
This year’s theme is “I Spy”! Each child receives a passport and a map highlighting all participating locations. At each stop, children are invited to take part in a playful “I Spy” challenge. When they spot the pre-selected item inside the business, they’ll show someone on site and receive a stamp in their passport!
While the program is geared toward elementary-aged kids, siblings, parents, grandparents, and caretakers are all welcome to join the adventure.
Weekly Fun & Prizes:
Each week, families will receive a digital newsletter with updates, bonus challenges, and prize opportunities. Thanks to our generous local sponsors, cool prizes will be awarded every week!
The Big Finish:
Completed passports must be turned in by August 8 to qualify for final prizes. Then join us at the Carousel Carnival on August 16 for the grand prize drawing, a celebration of explorers, and one last chance to get your passport back—stamped with summer memories.

La Asociación de Visitantes de Albany invita a todos los niños a participar en nuestro Programa de Pasaporte de Verano—una actividad divertida y gratuita para explorar negocios y atracciones locales. ¡Recoge sellos, busca objetos escondidos y gana premios!
Cómo Participar:
Los pasaportes estarán disponibles para registrarse el sábado 21 de junio en el Historic Albany Carousel and Museum, 503 W 1st Ave, de 11 a.m. a 1 p.m.
¿No puedes asistir ese día? No hay problema—los pasaportes estarán disponibles hasta el 1 de agosto en la Albany Visitors Association, 122 Ferry St SW.
