THOMPSON'S MILLS STATE HERITAGE SITE

Located in Shedd, about a 25 minute drive from Albany, this working historic mill is free to the public. The AVA and Thompson's Mills have worked to help market Linn County to visitors and and create the Mid-Willamette Valley Food Trail, which highlights culinary experiences such as restaurants, craft beverage makers, and farm experiences. Rangers at this State Heritage Site give free tours to individuals and groups.
