Pioneering Women Walking Tour

Celebrate Women's History Month with the Albany's Pioneering Women Walking Tour. Join a guided walking tour of Downtown Albany to learn about the influential women of Albany, Oregon. Including Bessie Hale, the first black woman business owner in Albany.

This tour will start at the Albany Visitors Association (AVA) and conclude with a free ride on the Historic Carousel & Museum, where participants will meet Wendy Kirbey, the carousel's founder. Call the AVA at 541-928-0911 to reserve your spot - space is limited.
