Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program

Honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with featured speaker Dr. Vincent Intondi. Dr. Intondi serves as the new Executive Director of Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility and is a research scholar at Cornell University's Reppy Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies.

A nationally recognized expert on nuclear disarmament and environmental justice, Dr. Intondi is the author of African Americans Against the Bomb and Saving the World from Nuclear War. His presentation will explore how Dr. King's commitment to nonviolence, anti-nuclear activism, and environmental justice connects to today's social movements and the challenges facing marginalized communities.

This is an opportunity to engage with timely issues of racial equity, peace, and environmental stewardship through the lens of Dr. King's enduring vision. This in- person only collaborative event is free and all are welcome to attend!
