Read to the Dogs

The Albany Main Library is happy to announce the return of a favorite program! They will have teams of trained handlers and their super dogs come to the library for reading opportunities. There will be a display of books to read or you are welcome to bring your own.

Sign up for a slot through their calendar or stop by the children's room. Registration is required.

The program is intended for children who can read independently at least a little bit - parents are invited to browse or find a comfy spot to sit while their children engage with the handler and dog team on their own. Even if your child is reading fluently, they are welcome too - the dogs love listening to everyone.
