Downtown Halloween Character Hunt 2025

Get an early start on Halloween with the Albany Downtown Association’s Downtown Halloween Character Hunt 2025—a family-friendly activity with a chance to win a movie night prize basket.

Beginning Friday, October 17, participants can explore Downtown Albany and search for Halloween Movie Character Posters displayed in storefront windows. Entry forms may be printed at home (online form available beginning October 17 at the ADA website) and colored before heading out, or picked up at the Albany Downtown Association office during open hours, 9 am to 5 pm.

Completed forms may be returned to the Albany Downtown Association office to receive a treat. Entries may also be dropped through the office door slot anytime on or before Thursday, October 31, to be entered into a random drawing for a Movie Night Prize featuring tickets to The Pix Theatre, theater candy, popcorn, and more. Colored entries will also be entered into a special drawing for two carousel rides.
