Step into the darkness and explore Albany’s haunted past on the Carriage of Shadows. Chafin Farms will provide horse-drawn wagons for this haunted hayride with a chilling twist. Visitors and locals alike are invited to journey through the shadowy streets, passing more than 15 haunted locations while hearing eerie tales of ghostly figures, whispers in alleyways, and unexplained happenings in historic buildings.

The tour’s most haunting stop will be inside the Monteith House, Albany’s oldest and most storied landmark. By candlelight, guests will gather in its creaking rooms to hear accounts of ghostly encounters that have been shared for generations.

This immersive experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Proceeds benefit the Monteith Historical Society, helping to preserve Albany’s first frame house, its collection of pioneer artifacts, and its educational programs.
