Hands On History
Linn County Historical Museum

This free event is held at Library Park, Downtown Brownsville (next to the Linn County Historical Museum)

Visitors of all ages are invited to step back in time and experience the daily life of early Oregon settlers. This hands-on event features traditional pioneer activities including cider pressing, wheat grinding, gold panning, and wagon rides.

Attendees can also enjoy old-time songs and stories, a trappers camp, and demonstrations of pioneer toys.

Held in the shade of Library Park, this event is a favorite for families. Guests are encouraged to come early to beat the heat and stay for the day—there’s plenty to see and do.
