Celebrate Independence Day:
4th of July Events Near Albany

While Albany will not host a fireworks display this year, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July nearby. Communities throughout Linn and Benton counties are planning full days of family-friendly fun, live music, parades, and evening fireworks. Whether you're looking for a small-town breakfast, a riverside concert, or a lakeside fireworks show, you’ll find great options just a short drive from Albany.

The East Albany Lions Club 68th Annual Lumberjack Breakfast is a great way to kick off the Independence Day weekend in Albany. It is held at Timber Linn Memorial Park, 900 Price Rd. SE, from Thursday, July 3, through Sunday, July 6. Breakfast is served each day from 6–11 a.m. and includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, milk, and coffee. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 11 and under. Each morning features a classic car show during breakfast hours, and a raffle drawing will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 6.

Brownsville’s Fourth of July festivities begin with a community breakfast at Pioneer Park, which brings residents together and raises funds for the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the day, enjoy family-friendly activities that highlight the town’s welcoming spirit. The evening wraps up with a fireworks display presented and supported by the Brownsville Chamber, with assistance from the Brownsville Rural Fire District.

Harrisburg celebrates Independence Day with a flag-raising ceremony at the Harrisburg Area Museum at 8 a.m., followed by another at the Riverfront Gazebo at 10 a.m. The day includes live music, food, and fun, ending with a vibrant fireworks show along the riverfront. The celebration is organized by the Harrisburg Community Fourth of July Association (HC4JA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All fireworks and activities are funded entirely through donations from generous individuals and local businesses.

Fireworks will light up the sky over Cheadle Lake Park in Lebanon on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 10 p.m. Due to ongoing construction at the park, there will be no additional events this year. The fireworks display is organized by Lebanon’s Fourth of July Celebration, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All proceeds go directly toward supporting this long-standing community tradition.

Mill City’s Independence Day festivities take place at Kimmel Park and begin with a Lions Club breakfast at SHS Commons and the Rick Posekany Memorial Run/Walk at SW Evergreen Street. A grand parade, live music, vendors, and tournaments fill the day with small-town celebration. The evening concludes with a fireworks display at Kimmel Park. The event is organized by the Mill City Fourth of July Committee, a dedicated group of community volunteers who meet throughout the year to coordinate and support the celebration.

Celebrate Independence Day in Corvallis with a full day of festivities along the downtown riverfront. The Red, White, and Blue Riverfront Festival features live music, food vendors, family activities, and a beer garden. The parade begins at 10 a.m., and the event runs until 11 p.m., concluding with a fireworks display over the Willamette River. Admission is free.

Celebrate the Fourth of July aboard the Santiam Excursion TrainsCheadle Lake Fireworks Express. Departing from Lebanon, this special holiday ride takes guests to a private meadow near Cheadle Lake for a scenic view of the city’s fireworks display. It’s a unique and family-friendly way to enjoy the festivities away from the crowds. Find departure times, tickets, and more details on their website.
