Presented by the Albany Landmarks Commission, please join David G. Lewis, PhD, for a discussion of Indian Education, appropriation of Native Culture, and misuse of Native students at Chemawa and Sherman Indian Schools through a discussion of Harwood Hall.

Harwood Hall was the superintendent of Chemawa and Sherman Indian Schools and used Native students and culture to develop the schools in the early 20th century.
Hall and his wife benefited socially from their use of Native culture.
