138th Annual Linn County Pioneer Picnic "Pioneer Logging Camps"

Linn County Pioneer Picnic
Since 1887, the Linn County Pioneer Picnic has been a beloved annual tradition, making it the longest continuously running celebration in Oregon. Originally established as a reunion for early homesteaders, it has grown into a three-day event filled with family-friendly activities, entertainment, and community spirit. In 2012, it was honored as an Oregon Heritage Tradition by the Oregon Heritage Commission.
The festivities kick off on Friday with the Kiddie Parade and the crowning of the Pioneer Picnic Princesses. Saturday’s highlights include a firefighter-hosted breakfast, the much-anticipated Main Street Parade featuring local clubs, organizations, and the Grand Marshals, and a full day of activities at Pioneer Park—quilt and art shows, a horseshoe tournament, logging competition, and classic games for kids. Sunday wraps up the weekend with a historic nondenominational church service.
Throughout the weekend, enjoy live music, delicious food, and vendors while gathering with friends and family. Admission is always free!
