Brownsville "Stand By Me" Day!

Brownsville’s claim to fame? The iconic film Stand By Me, shot right here in town. Locals proudly celebrate each year on the 4th Saturday in July with Stand By Me Day—featuring walking tours of film locations, contests, activities, and more. Hosted by the Linn County Historical Museum, the fun runs from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Library Park in beautiful downtown Brownsville. Come join the celebration!  Check here for more information.
