Christmas Organ Recital Series
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1 - 3 PM
The first Sunday afternoon Christmas organ recital is played by organist extraordinaire Eric McKirdy! He'll be joined by a local trombone quartet - Bones Appetit - led by Jim Martinez. There's something remarkable about brass and organ together -- bring the family and experience it in a beautiful setting.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8 - 3 PM
Brad Bateman and Salem-area harpist Bethany Evans will present 35 minutes of unique, colorful explorations of familiar and loved Christmas carols.
Don't miss this wonderful duo!
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15 - 3 PM
Mindy Kleinman will play some wonderful settings of Christmas carols by prolific composer & organist Charles Callahan who passed away earlier in 2024.
Rounding out her program will be Christmas music from English cathedrals and a very fun setting of "Good King Wenceslas" that uses everything the pipe organ's got!
The whole family will enjoy this 30-minute program
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22 - 3 PM
Wrapping up this year’s series, Eric will share his very favorite Christmas music for the organ in a joyful and engaging program! Expect a few surprises along the way and even a couple of audience sing-alongs to add to the holiday fun.
These recitals are perfect for the whole family. Coloring activities will be available to help the little ones engage with the music.
Admission is always free.
