Silent Book Club
Love to read? The Albany Silent Book Group offers a unique book club experience with no assigned reading or required book discussions. It’s simply a relaxing way to share space with fellow book lovers! Beginning in September 2024, the group meets at Deluxe Brewing, 635 NE Water Avenue in Albany, Oregon, on the third Saturday of the month from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
What to expect:
- Arrive, grab a refreshment, and settle in to read
- Enjoy one hour of silent reading time
- Stay and socialize, share your book, or feel free to leave
The monthly events are free, but attendees are encouraged to support the host venue by purchasing a drink or menu item. Just bring your own book (or ebook, audiobook with headphones, textbook, comic, newspaper, fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi, etc.) and enjoy an hour of peaceful silent reading! Afterward, you can socialize and share what you’re reading—though socializing is optional. This is a silent book club, and all readers are welcome. Come solo or bring a friend!
About Deluxe Brewing + Sinister Distilling Company: The Deluxe Brewing taproom is family- and pet-friendly, with indoor and outdoor seating.
