29th Annual Walk for the Cause

Come and be a part of the vibrant Walk for the Cause event, on October 5, 2024, at the Courthouse steps in Albany, Oregon. 2024 marks our 29th Walk Celebration, and we invite you to join our challenge - $ 1 million in 30 years to support the detection and treatment of breast cancer, and other diseases affecting women in our local community.

The day kicks off with registration at 8 am, followed by an engaging program at 9 am. Lace up your sneakers and get ready for the Walk/Run at 9:15 am, where you can participate in our traditional 5K and contribute to a meaningful cause.

As part of the festivities, we will be hosting a raffle drawing at 10:30 am. The best part is, you do not need to be present to win! Be sure to pre-order your raffle tickets during registration, with an offer of 5 tickets for $20. Alternatively, you can also purchase tickets on-site for $5 each. By attending the Walk for the Cause event, you are contributing to a significant cause. All proceeds from this SIA event stay in our local area and go directly towards the detection and treatment of breast cancer, as well as providing support services for other diseases affecting women.
