Set against the stunning backdrop of Springhill Cellars Winery, guests will be treated to a Hawaiian-inspired dinner, accompanied by the enchanting melodies of a DJ spinning a selection of Hawaiian music. All proceeds from the evening will directly contribute to the preservation and operation of the Cumberland Community Event Center.

The mission of the Cumberland is to preserve Albany’s heritage by restoring Albany’s Cumberland Church building and to promote the social well-being of the community by repurposing it as a community events center. The Cumberland church building, constructed in 1892, is a magnificent example of Queen Anne architecture and holds a special place in Albany’s history. The building was recently moved and restoration efforts continue on this architectural gem, ensuring it remains a vibrant part of our community for generations to come

About Cumberland Community Event Center: The Cumberland Community Event Center is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of Albany through the restoration and utilization of the historic Cumberland Church. The long-term vision of The Cumberland is to offer educational and enrichment programs for children and families, providing a facility for arts, education, recreation, and local activities The center will be available to public and private groups to rent for events.
